CHAPTER ONE

Rish, fresh as-a-daisy grilled lasgne stuffed with Atlantic crab and scallop with pickled dillisk and a lemon butter sauce. #finedining

Chapter One is one of the most successful restaurants in Dublin. The story started when Ross Lewis and Martin Corbett launched their restaurant in a basement in Parnell Square. In the face of many people telling them that they were crazy, the business became prosperous and was even awarded a Michelin star in 2007, which it still features today. It displays authentic granite walls and sash windows which have been renovated in a stylish way.

Chef Ross Lewis cooks supreme food while Manager Martin Corbett provides an inimitable welcoming service and attention to the clients. This restaurant is a true blend of old-style with innovative twists, making Chapter One a truly popular and unmissable restaurant. For many, it is considered Dublin's premier pre-theatre dining venue.

Chapter One is a venue of friendliness, where people can also meet for tea or a traditional Irish coffee. The ambience is welcoming and relaxing to allow customers to enjoy themselves while savoring the marvelous food and drinks. Excellent quality produce is essential for this restaurant, with plenty of fresh, local Irish ingredients being utilized. Organic and seasonal ingredients are the base of its cuisine.

Every day a roast shoulder of lamb or pork is slow-roasted for the lunch menu - which, on some days, may also include braised veal breast or Italian risotto. A 2-course lunch starts at €30, while dinners also offer the possibility of an eight-couse tasting menu for 110€ or A la Carte menu with mains from €35.
