DAX

Dax Restaurant, a modern Franco-Irish fine dining restaurant in the heart of Dublin's Georgian District.

Opened in 2004, Dax Restaurant offers unrivalled levels of elegant dining and fine French cuisine in Dublin’s historic Georgian quarter. The inspiration for Dax is born out of Olivier Meisonnave’s love for his Aquitaine home. Chef Graham Neville has reached the top ranks of Irish haute cuisine where, in 2019, he was granted with the award “Best Chef Ireland” at the Irish Restaurant Awards.

The impressive mix of professional service and delicious food makes it a top destination for fine dining, client entertainment and pre-theatre. Dax is a modern Irish cuisine that uses only the purest and finest local produce, ensuring a healthy and fine dining experience. Exemplifying the search for the finest local produce, it delivers an experience of taste and culture that is renowned throughout Ireland.

The menu varies seasonally. At Dax you can always expect to find the best of Foie Gras, duck, game and prunes, associated with the rich food and style of South West France. Starters include Irish west coast crab and poached loin of rabbit. Desserts include divine ice creams, sorbets and breads and are made in house by Dax’s own Pastry Chef. They also have an excellent cheese plate with a wine list second to none.

They offer a 5-course tasting menu for €85, which becomes €125 when associated with matching wines by the glass, while a 3-course set lunch menu is for €35.
